Week 1:
This week we talked about making a Minecraft game about kaitiaki tanga (kaitiaki tanga means guardians of earth in Māori)
Plan:
I chose my plan to be where you spawn in a box, and there’s one good door and a bad door. If you choose a forest team /the green door you’ll get transported to a forest where you have to protect the whole entire forest before night falls. With the items in the chest in front of you build a humongous fortress over the forest. On the other hand if you choose the door/the red door you will get transported to a Ginormous tower with the forest in your side and there’s going to be cannon of different things where you have to destroy the forest but however once you destroy the forest there is going to be consequences and if you don’t destroy destroy the whole entire forest before nightfalls if you don’t your tower will explode.
Storyline :
The storyline for my game is tane mahuta was walking around, as he noticed that a huge tower was being built in the forest so he had to protect himself and the forest for what was coming.
Name of the game:
The name of our game is called
kaitiaki tanga vs Kiki no.
Rules :
The rules of our game are if you chose Kiki no you can’t destroy the forest before it’s night time. If you chose kaitiaki tanga you have to stop building at night time and also if you try to go into the tower you get poisoned to death.
Design :
Week 2 and 3:
We did a Canvas advertisement. Advertisements are ads. I chose this to be my design because I really liked it and also had some parts in it so I thought it would be a good touch since we were doing it about kaitiaki tanga. To be honest I didn’t learn much from Canvas except that you can add texts and move it around I guess. We made advertisement so a game can get played and so people know about our game.
Week 4 and 5
to make a world first you’re gonna need to go to create world
then you’re going to need to pick what type of difficulty you want your world to be you can also choose if you want survival or creative and choose if you want a flat or normal world.
here are some tips for your Minecraft world.
If you wanna play with your friends in Minecraft you’re gonna have to sign up with you’re Microsoft account.
mobs won’t attack you in peaceful mode.
if you’re in creative you can create anything you want by just tapping three dots.
if you create an iron golem it won’t attack you but if you just find one in a village or something it will. if you hit it.
if you’re trying to break or build faster I recommend you use this control

What is Kaitiakitanga
Kaitiakitanga is guardianship and protecting our Earth by not littering and protecting our animals.
How my world relates to kaitiakitanga.
My Minecraft world relates to kaitiakitanga because I have planted trees and plants around the map and I have rivers and animals. And I made my own trees and animals.
How my game relates to kaitiakitanga.
My Minecraft game relates to kaitiakitanga because it’s about saving the forest and protecting land by building something to protect it. There are trees rivers and animals to protect.
What I’ve learnt about kaitiakitanga.
I have learnt that Kaitiakitanga is about protecting Earth and not littering.
It’s also about planting seeds and taking care of our environment. It’s also about guardianship protecting and also looking after animals. I learnt this from Blake VR, the zoo, tread lightly caravan and steam term 3.
