Week 3-steam-water cycle
We poured water down on the concrete ,Then we waited for it to be still and then we traced the water with some chalk. Then we had to estimate the time it would be dry.
Week 4-steam -water cycle
My life as a raindrop
First I go through the greater in the dams where eels and freshwater fish cant get through, then i go through a lot of filters. The first filter i go through is the aluminium filter which means to take out all the germs out of me and send it out to landfill then i go through a sand filter which basically mean to get out all the sand and mini rock out of me then i get a little bit of chlorine in me then i travel through all the pipes to your house and then you drink me.
S2-STEAM: Guardians of the EARTH Kaitiakitanga
Week 1: Water Cycle
The water cycle includes condensation, evaporation, precipitation, ground water and water vapour. Evaporation is when the water from a body of water forms into gas and goes up to the sky and then condensation happens which is when all the gas form the body of water forms into clouds, The clouds are full of gas and water which then goes into precipitation which means to fall as rain, snow or hail and then when the water hits the ground it goes through the soil then to a body of water again and then goes back to the start of the water cycle. The water cycle basically goes around and around in circles over and over again.
I want to know how the water forms into steam or gas and how it travels up to the sky 🌌 .
so first we had some big pieces of paper with different cycles like water cycle, Air cycle, Rock Cycle then we had to write on the pieces of paper what we know about it, How its related to us and can you draw it. After that we got a gar of ice 🧊and weighed it and it was about 41o grams. Then miss Wang asked us a question “do you think the weight is going to change when its all melted” and i said no, so we waited for it to melt in some boiling hot water. After 20 or 15 minutes it was all melted then we weighed it again and it was the same weight
