My Biggest Achievement

Have you ever achieved something you never thought you could ever achieve?  It might be conquering your biggest fear? Maybe a test? Or a socializacion activity? Well my biggest achievements are about times in lockdown that are unforgettable. It is about a time I never thought would happen…

It was the 25 of august 2021… We had just found out my dad’s uncle Kau had passed. We joined a zoom funeral, only it wasn’t the same as the actual thing. We first shared our prayers, then came speeches. It was so sad because all my cousins were bawling, while saying the speeches. After that moment was a slide show of all the photographs of our  grandpa Kau showed. We called him our grandpa because he was like our grandpa. Some were hilarious, and some gave BAD memories. We had to wait up to about three  hours until the burial would show…

After three whole hours of waiting the burial finally happened. The first part was just the funeral car driving up to the house where everyone could say their farewells to my uncle. THEN the absolute WORST PART was him getting buried… the pain I felt was unbearable. I promise you my dad’s cry was so loud… I didn’t believe it was him crying

The next day we just had to listen to everything my dad said to do…After a few hours my mum had asked if we wanted to grab some ice cream. And we did. After a few weeks of helping my dad with whatever he wanted, we took him to the cemetery where my uncle Kau was buried. So now everyday after school my dad would pick me up and we would go see my uncle kau. My achievement is getting through the saddest part of my life.
