Do you know a filmmaker called sir Peter Jackson. He’s a filmmaker that basically everyone’s knows and if you don’t know him or want to know more about him then read this blog. Peter has made many famous films but his most popular films are lord of the rings and hobbit. When he was a child Peter had a really interesting imagination, his mother used to say that in the bushes and trees there were trolls and goblins. His father used to make miniature things, peter wanted to help with the things.

Sir Peter Jackson grew up in pukerau, and displayed a passion for filmmaking from a young age, making backyard movies with a Super 8 camera. Inspired by television and movies, he experimented with special effects, leaving school at 17 to pursue a film career. He worked as a photo engraver while saving for equipment and eventually received his first New Zealand  film  for his first feature film, bad taste launching his path to professional filmmaking.
