Camp Poem

In the heart of the woods where the tall pines sway,
A gathering of laughter welcomes the day.
With backpacks and blankets, we wander the trail,
Each step filled with stories, where spirits prevail.

The sun breaks through branches, a golden embrace,
As we set up our tents in this magical space.
The crackling campfire ignites with a spark,
Casting shadows of friendship that dance in the dark.

Marshmallows toast over flames, sweet and divine,
While we share ghost stories, sipping on wine.
The stars start to twinkle, a celestial glow,
In this haven of peace, our worries let go.

We sing songs of old, our voices entwined,
Echoing the laughter, the memories we find.
With the moon as our witness, we promise to keep,
The bonds that we’ve forged in the night’s gentle sweep.

As dawn paints the sky with colors anew,
We’ll carry this camp, in our hearts, ever true.
For the trails that we roam and the moments we share,
Are the whispers of camp that linger in air.
