Year 6 Hapori is using STEAM and the LAUNCH cycle to create their own Celebration Day for TGS. As part of this, students have been identifying aspects of our TGS culture, which we will then incorporate into the activities and artefacts we create for the day.

Our group are designing a photo show to best represent and guide the audience to get a thorough test of TGS and TGS culture.

We have identified and agreed on five categories of TGS culture and working on making visually appealing photo shows to demonstrate all of them.

Students are asked to work collaboratively and think creatively to make this project work. They also have been guided to seek feedback from their peers and from more sophisticated children – Kahu students. They then modify their draft for a few rounds based on the comments they received.
