Children looking at the firefly glowing moon

The darkness crept in with a soft loom

They put up a ladder and climbed up high

The stars were blinking up in the sky

The kids landed on the moon which made a THUD!

The dust flew up like a flood

They looked at their bodies it was as bright as the sun

They started to laugh and have some fun

They danced pranced and ran around

Then they heard a sound that was quite loud

they heard their mum shout Time for dinner!

And off they ran smiling like a winner.

  1. Feather:You did a great job picking your rhyming words for this poem!

Feather:I really like the similes and metaphors you used, they definitely paint a picture in my mind!

Wings badge:For next time, you could use speech marks for when a character is talking and optionally, you can have the characters talk/interact with each other to make the story a more lively! (*’▽’*)
