Week 7/8: What books you should have on a deserted island

Hi, I am a 11 year old boy who loves adventures and exploring, and has never been on a deserted island, but would like to keep it that way. But just in case these are books you should have with you on a deserted island.

The first book is “How to: Deserted Island”. If your on a deserted island, it would be a good idea to bring a book to guide you. This book would give you information like: how to gather food, how to build shelter, and which fruit and plants to eat.

The second book would be: “guide to signalling” this book would be essential in case a plane or boat came by. Imagine you were on a deserted island, you have worked hard and gathered heaps of resources. But then a boat or plane came by but you didn’t know how to signal. That would be very unfortunate.

The third book is an adventure narrative about a guy stranded on an island. This would be a good book for two reasons. Those being that it would be good for keeping you entertained and not going crazy, and also you could try to do the things that the character(s) did.

That is why if you ever are stranded on a deserted island these are the books you should have. (Although you’d have to read the future to predict when to keep these books with you.)
