Week 5/6: Digital Art!

On Tuesday week 5, we did something called digital art. The teachers said it was because they wanted to know how good we are the apps we would be using for school. I had a lot of technical issues when doing it, but let’s start from the start.

So, when the teachers said that we would get to do digital art, I was really excited! They told us about an artist who makes pictures of birds and plants. Something cool and unique about it was that it was all out of scale. When we were sent off to do ours, I wanted to do a kāhu. I looked through all of the bird pictures but none of them looked with mine. So I made my own!! Matthew told me about a really useful website called (I can’t remember.com). So I got a cool photo of a kahu, and put it through the software, cleaned it up a bit, and added it to my picture. My picture consisted of a kāhu and a lot of plants. (And briefly an unravelled picture of Quinn’s head.) This is my finished picture.

It was a lot of fun!
