Thee whole time I had sleepovers with my cousin back and forth

We went to the arcade and golfing and to the papakura centre

Then my little cousin came to have a sleepover he is 9 at my cousins house.

We were pillow fighting because we were bored and I made my little cousin cry.

Then we gave my little cousin kombucha and we tricked him into thinking it beer.

I He started crying because he thought he was gonna get in trouble by his parents.

Then we ended our sleepover with HAVING ANOTHER SLEEPOVER.

His parents ended our sleepover streak 😭

Basketball

On the 30 of August Friday we went to basketball to    compete against other school it

Was not easy that was the hardest ccsa tournament I’ve ever been to. The first game we won 16 – 4 the second game got intense but sadly we lost 18 – 8 then we took another loss against the best players there Clendon park  they we lost 4 – 20 then at the last game we won 36 – 0

Comparing the environments

The botanical gardens has a more Open gardeny vibe

Totara park has a more of a jungle type vibe

 

Totara

This is a piece of original remnant forest and represents almost all that is left of the alluvial flat forests common in Manukau in pre-human times. It is characterised by mature rimu, kahikatea, miro, mataī and tōtara. These grow alongside some 170 other species of native plants.There are multiple entry points to the trail and different options for short or long walks. The full trail is 4 kms and will lead you on a loop of the whole forest area – it will take approximately 2 hours at a leisurely pace. So I would go here if I want to be alone or have fun exploring

Botanical gardens

Botanical gardens is a tropical garden type place where kids family’s dogs and bees and all type of people and animals and plants. There is a dog park and a main place where there is a cafe I would go  there if I wanted to do a picnic or play sports like cricket football softball hockey batmingtin

Three weeks after school started I started  playing basketball and cricket  because I can’t play football/soccer the school field has been under construction so my main priority’s for sports are to get good at basketball and cricket for basketball I might join a team if not I’m just going to train and have fun at the School basketball courts for cricket I go to Bruce Pullman park to go to the cricket nets cricket nets are ur in a big cage with slots so you don’t need to go get the ball every time so u don’t waste time I go every chance I get because the cricket nets are in takanini. for school tech I got science with Mr von tonder and cooking with Mrs swanapoel  for the first week with Mrs swanapoel we made dumplings doe the next week we will make the chicken filling and freeze it for for the next week and then we will eat them. For Mr Von tonder we were looking at our skin with a mini telescope and next there was an ink pad wich we put our fingers on to see what time of finger print we have on our fingers on and if u let it dry up on your fingers a little it’s gonna be a real struggle estimate time it’s gonna be 10 minutes.We have words of the day the words are like kindness type of words. Personally I don’t think some of my friends are role models even when they are older so I try avoiding them but it’s really hard some friends are really good role models wich are parminder and Karman those are my two role model friends they tell me to try harder and they tell me to work more to Echive what I want.
