The first few days have been fun but it is getting harder and harder, I have been nervous coming into a new class because I am used to being one of the younger individuals in the school.
I am looking forward to camp in term 4 week 6, because I am interested in archery. I would also like to learn independent skills that will help me achieve multiple things in the future.
i have learnt things that I thought weren’t important but actually are, I’ve also learnt where things go around the kahu space and how to manage my time and energy.
I’m looking forward to house games which include every house in the gardens school, but I’m mostly excited for the kahu hapori ones. Kahu house games are like jump jam (just dance) Im pretty sure that’s the only activity we have done so far, but we have new activities every Friday middle block after morning tea and roll.
I am looking forward to all the sports activities coming up as I would like to be the Tawa/blue house captain for 2025. The sports teams I would like to be in are be cricket and football this is because these are the sports I enjoy most.
In year 7/8 I am expecting to learn more advanced literacy and more complex maths, this is because it will benefit me in my next years as a student.
