Queen Elizabeth

 

Queen Elizabeth II became Queen, when her father (King George VII) passed away from a blockage in his heart, Elizabeth was his apprentice, George knowing that he did not have much time left, he sent Elizabeth to South Africa on a diplomatic mission and of course prince Philip the duke of Edinburgh came. Then when Elizabeth and Philip were in a cottage, Philip told Elizabeth that her father had died, when she got back home she looked and was very sad. Then June 2nd 1953, the big day for the new Queen of the United kingdom

 

Important dates of Queen Elizabeth’s life.

 

13 October 1940 – Elizabeth II makes her first broadcast to the nation.

21 April 1944 – Elizabeth II receives her first corgi, Susan, as an 18th birthday present.

4 March 1945 – Elizabeth II joins the Auxiliary Territorial Service, learning how to drive and maintain vehicles.

20 November 1947 – Prince Philip of Edinburgh, Mary’s Elizabeth II.

14 November 1948 – Prince Charles was born.

15 August 1950 – Princess Annie was born.

June 2nd 1953 – Elizabeth’s coronation.
