Have you ever Done Tree planting? Well some of us went to kimber road in Bombay to do Tree planting. The owners were Jocelyn, Mark and Rosie the dog. There was also Linzi from Trees for Survival.

When we got ready to go there was a bus waiting for us. When we got to the bus there was a lovely bus driver waiting for us. When we all sat down on the bus the bus driver made an announcement and she said we couldn’t sing wheels on the bus which I thought was kind of funny.

When we got to our destination Linzi was waiting for us. When we got to the shed, we got ready to plant trees. We sat down to eat morning tea. Then we took a 5 minute walk to get to the tree planting area. When we got there Linzi explained to us how to plant trees. And then we all grabbed a spade and started planting trees. When we finished planting trees we planted 600 trees in total.

When we finished planting trees we came back to the shed and had lunch. For lunch  we had samosas, sausages, fruit and chicken nuggets. After lunch there was desert for desert there was lamingtons, marshmallows and other sweet stuff.

The reason we did this was for trees for survival, we did it for oxygen and to stop erosion. We all had the best day ever!. And we were super grateful for doing tree planting.
