Insects roles in our world

Insects roles in our world.
In week two in STEAM we learned about five ways insects help our world.
The first way insects help is pollinating, pollinating helps plants grow and without insects we wouldn’t have some things we have today such as bees without bees there is no honey. The second way that insects help with is fertilising. Dung beetles push dung into the soil which also helps plants grow. Dung beetles also help spread seeds into the soil. The third way insects can help is by eating other pests such as aphids.Ladybugs help eat aphids. There are also a lot more insects that eat pests. If you want to attract ladybugs then you should plant:marigolds, dahlias, daisies, asters, cosmos, Calendula, Coreopsis, tansies, yarrows, Zinnia or sunflowers. These plants attract ladybugs. Fourth way insects help they are great food sources for other animals, Insects are also very important in the food chain. Beetles are the most popular food source. Last insects are inspiring creatures and can help us get a better connection with nature.Slides https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1i1DURie1KiyuoRbdMhAPUlvEQgbJSW_uPi5nZTpA3uQ/edit
